On the water with Quiet Water Kayakers!

Welcome to the 2020* Quiet Water Kayakers (QWK) paddling season!

*IMPORTANT INFO FOR THE 2020 SEASON: Due to the unknown, plans may change. At this time, we will not be gathering after paddles for grabbing a bite to eat. Watch for our trip emails about five days in advance. For up to date details, check Facebook or here on our website. If you are not already on our email list, sign-up by emailing QuietWaterKayakers at Comcast dot Net.

We ask all paddlers respect the standards of social distancing and CDC guidelines during this time of COVID-19. If you are not feeling well, or may have been exposed to anyone who has the virus within the last 14 days, do not join us for the paddle. Masks are appreciated and encouraged before launching and at the take-out.

This is the 17th season for Quiet Water Kayakers! Join us for paddles on Thursday evenings. We will be mixing in trips in the Portsmouth area. If you have a favorite place in Barrington, Portsmouth and the surrounding area, please let us know the details, we’re on the lookout for new places to paddle!

To be added to the email list, for more information or to recommend a trip, contact us at QuietWaterKayakers at Comcast dot Net. Please include your name and email address. We use your email address only to send you information for the next trip and for others we plan on a weekend or on an off week – usually sent to you about one week in advance. Check out our Facebook page for random posts, scheduled paddles, photos and updates due to weather.

Take a look around the blog… you will find the 2020 schedule, general information and photos from the QWK excursions.

• Trips are on Thursday evenings, every other week, starting June 11, 2020 *See important info above.
